Owner and operator Gail Goldman has always been passionate about animal, especially dogs, and created the first
Dogwalking/petsitting service of Long Beach in 1986, out of love for her Samoyed, Aspen, and their mutual love of other dogs.
Aspen LOVED other dogs, and together we saw the joys of our dogs being together, walking, playing, exercising.. thus we created
doggie playgroups back in '86 to maximize their fun and time together.. they all thrived on it! We always loved to watch and
study their play and interactions and behaviors together and it was, and still is OUR PASSION.
We helped Long Beach get the first DOG PARK in the area in 1988, so other dogs could enjoy being
social and leash-free! Our philosophies are still the same today, except that we are EXCLUSIVE in whom we allow to play
with us.. we thrive on keeping our dogs happy and safe in our own, private RANCH environment.
Having loved and cared for animals our whole lives, with many hundreds of doggie friends in our history, we're proud to
offer our unique services and loving care to our special dogs. Gail has two unique, funny, wacky mutts she adores (shelter
and rescue dogs), named Grizzly (Newfoundland mix) and Hooligan (Flat-coated Retriever mix) who love their many friends and
make all of our charges feel at home, like our family. You'll see Grizzly riding in the Muttmobile with his arm out the
window like a grown man who just worked a day at a ranch, hanging out as he enjoys.. Hooligan likes to make new friends,
and loves playing with them daily, and wagging non-stop.
We are members of IACP (International Association of Canine Professionals) and are insured.
We are uniquely small, catering to our clients' personal needs, and we photograph and video the dogs and give to the Moms and Dads to enjoy (we are rural and have no electricity and thus no web-cam, so we video and share)
All of our dogs come on a regular, weekly basis, and all are very social together; they love each other and by coming weekly they get comfortable quickly and it's ideal for optimum social benefits, their confidence and security.
Assistant Catherine
We're proud and happy to introduce our amazing assistant and animal- lover, Catherine, who
attends Aliso Niguel High School, owns a horse named Todd, and two dogs of her own; her beloved Shih Tzu named
Bizzie and her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Beau. Catherine is wonderful and hands-on with the dogs and
brings Beau to play with us for his social outlet.
Catherine has had pets her whole life and has had much kennel experience before finding us. She is a blessing and
a huge part of our kids' fun, and daily love. We're fortunate to have her with us!
